Look at my boy!!! He has changed so much!! At his 2 week appointment, the pediatrician said that he was 8 lbs. 15 oz. which puts him as average and is measuring 21 1/4 inches which put him as above average. By now, I know he is way over 9 lbs. and honestly I think he also got longer.
He really is a good boy. He sleeps so well at night (keeping my fingers crossed). He only gets up one time around midnight to have his bottle and then he falls right back to sleep and gets up again at 5 am (just about my normal wake up time for work). After the 5 am bottle he gets up one more time around 8 or 9 am and then he is up pretty much all morning. He loves sunlight and wants to stay up....even though he really is fighting his sleep the whole time. He may take some naps but they last at most 15 minutes. Then by 2 pm he sleeps until his next feeding.
I hope he keeps this up because honestly, it's not that bad. I try not to tell anyone how good it's been...especially people with newborns...because I don't want them to be upset that their kid isn't doing the same. But who knows JP could always change and become a nightmare! I hope not!!!
Well he's up now.....I'm sure he needs a diaper change. Till next time!

Aww....well I am sure he is just trying to let you rest now so you have your energy for when he gets older! LOL Elizabeth
