Back from Boston and News on Another Death

Let's start with the news I received.  A co-worker of mine lost her father over the weekend to cancer.  Yet another wake I need to go to.  Again, I was shocked.  He was diagnosed not too long ago and I guess it was just too much for him.  I don't know.  Today, I will be going to the committal for my friend's passing and then 2 hours later go to the wake of the father of my co-worker.  Only thing is....everything happens in threes.  So I can't stop thinking about what the third can be.  I know...I shouldn't be worrying myself about it...but I am.  It has to be the hormones.  

Boston was good.  Driving there was a lot easier than I thought....I only made 2 stops.  I brought a lot of fruits, water and snacks into the car with me so I was ready for the drive.  I even had enough for the drive back.  

The day we got to Boston we saw Vlad's family.  It was nice.  I met people I've never met before and it was nice seeing the ones I already knew.  The second day, we did some more family visiting and went to the JFK library and museum.  That was interesting and I enjoyed it.  Then for dinner we went out to the Summer Shack and walked down Boyleston St. (?).  It was a very trendy spot of Boston.  We of course drove past Fenway Park.  But Vlad wanted nothing to do with that....LOL.  

The drive back was a little tougher as we had hit some traffic.  But overall, the trip was good.  Today I'm exhausted but I got to get my butt going cause I've got tons to do today.  

Oh and I should mention that everyone in Vlad's family up in Boston think we are having a girl because all of the cousins had girls.  So they are assuming Vlad will have the same.  We'll see....about 3 more weeks until we find out!
