The Phantom of the Opera

was awesome!!!  Vlad and I went yesterday to NYC and watched the Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.  It was a fantastic show.  Only complaint......they need more intermissions!  LOL  I had to use the bathroom so badly by the time intermission came...I could have taken out any person in my way.  I practically flew down the stairs to get to the bathroom.  Ultimately, I was #6 on line.  Not too bad.  I even told someone in my aisle..this is the last time I go to a Broadway show pregnant.  Lesson learned.

Oh, and my other complaint.....we walked from Penn Station to 44th Street.  For those that know NYC that's a good 10 blocks!!!  Plus, Vlad was practically running to get to the show on time...we had about a half hour from the time we got to Penn Station.  So by the time we got to the line at the Majestic..I was sweating my @$$ off!!!  And yes, we were on time.  Thank goodness I had water to drink on the way there.  Going home was better.  I made Vlad slow down.  The good news is....from our house we walked to the train station switched at Secaucus Junction and were on another train to New York Penn Station and we made the whole trip in an hour.  It was nice not having to take the car out at all.

Once we got home, we went straight into the lot of our building jumped in my car and went to Uno's for dinner came home watched the Yankee game and watched a movie then went to bed.

Oh and by the way....today is our 3rd Wedding Anniversary!   Yay us!!  We aren't going to do anything today because we are leaving for Boston tomorrow morning and staying for the weekend.  So after yesterday's events and this weekend's plans...today will just be a day of rest and packing for our trip.

I took a class of students to NYC on a field trip in May last year (so 7ish months pg). After walking MILES (how did the big preggo get the ONLY group who HAD to go to Central Park?), we then went to see Spamalot. I don't think I enjoyed it nearly as much as I might have otherwise (I fell asleep at one point). Someone offered to let me in front of her for the bathroom BEFORE the show when there was no line, but people just started at me doing the pee pee dance at intermission when there was a long line.
UGH!

I hope you had a wonderful anniversary!
