Half Way There!!!

I turned 20 weeks yesterday!  Can you believe it?!  Boy, is time flying!  Well...here is my newest belly pic and I also did a picture from my backside.  Someone asked to see a pic from behind so they can see where my belly is starting from to figure out the age old question if it's a boy or a girl.  Well one week until we officially find out!!!

So I finally called my hematologist today...yeah I know....I'm terrible!  Turns out I'm suppose to get a platelet count every month!!!  I haven't done one since I was 8 weeks.  Guess who will be asking for blood work next week...that's right me!!!  This sucks.  She said it's important to check every month because my platelet count can quickly change.  Great news !  However...I feel great...so I'm sure that all is okay.  

Earlier this week...I went to the dentist to get my cleaning.  This is the first time I'm seeing this dentist because the dentist I went to retired shortly after my first visit to him.  I had one before that for years....but he may have traumatized me at my last appointment.  He really is a great guy personally....but for my teeth...thank you sir...I will see someone else.  Anyway, back to this new dentist.  Vlad has been going to this new dentist for awhile now...so I decided to go to the same one since he likes it and because it's literally 5 minutes away.  So I go....and they are all like....wow you are small for 5 months...(yeah ok!).  Vlad was already acting like the proud daddy...isn't he cute?!  

It's finally my turn to see the dentist (Vlad had an appointment too and got to see the dentist first) and I sit in the chair and all goes well with the examination.  Nothing I didn't already know was told to me.  So finally the cleaning....the dentist that examined me did not do the cleaning another dentist did.  I call her.....DOCTOR HITLER!!!!!!!!!  No joke....she's one tough cookie.  I've gotten many cleanings since very young and I never bled as much as I did that day.  If anything....maybe my platelet count did drop thanks to crazy dentist lady.  Plus, I completely forgot that I'm suppose to get a platelet count before doing any dental work (my mom reminded me of that after the fact).  Well, we'll find out soon if that was at all affected.  Anyway, back to Doctor Hitler.  I was praying that she was done from the moment she started.  When I saw her glove filled with blood...I almost flipped out.  When she finally told me to rinse.....it was clots of blood not just the liquid version of it.  GROSS!!!!  Thankfully....it didn't continue to bleed...if it did...I would have rushed to the hospital (no joke!).  I thanked Vlad for not warning me about Doctor Hitler (by the way she is Eastern European so it kind of fits...LOL) and he was like...."yeah I don't like her very much".  Oh thanks a lot!  Then we left and went to Uno's for a late lunch early dinner with our newly cleaned teeth!  :-P

Yesterday, I made an appointment for my eyebrows and a pedicure.  And did I need that pedicure!!!  I haven't been able to reach my toes for awhile...and have been putting it off....but I'm glad I went and got pampered a little.  The girls there think I'm having a boy by the way I'm carrying...but who knows.  Now my toes look pretty and my eyebrows look tamed. I'm good for now.  Next Tuesday, I have an appointment with the endocrinologist...we'll see how that goes.  Then Thursday is the big day!!!  I can't wait!
