We tried not to get too excited on the way to the hospital just in case it was mistaken identity. But no...IT WAS HER!!!! She was talking a lot of gibberish but all in all....she was happy to see us and we to her. My brother already prepared us and said that when we see her to not get too excited and act normal. Surprisingly we all did. We all wanted to cry...tears of joy....but we held back. My aunt recognized each and every one of us. Which was wonderful.
Unfortunately, she was cut up, mugged, barefoot, dirty, wind burned, tired, hungry....etc. But that's ok...because she is safe. She kept talking about how terrible everything was.
Before we saw her, I kind of pieced everything together to figure out why she ran off to begin with. As I said a few days ago, my aunt's group home is closing and they will be moving her to another place. A woman from the other group home (spanish speaking) went to see her to assess her and explain what was going on. She thought that meant she needed to leave right then and there. So she packed up and started heading out to her new home. She DID go to the right section of Philly (West Philly) but the cops found her and brought her to a 24 hour shelter in Center City (no where near each other). I don't know exactly when...but she was mugged which prevented her from eating and getting around. She had $60 on her and had only spent $10 on Chinese Food when she got mugged. She began to beg for money to buy a drink and food.
I must say, we now see homeless people in a totally different light. Maybe from now on, when we see a homeless person....we might give them some spare change. Some people did give my aunt money in which she was able to buy a drink of some sort. Although, she was still pretty dehydrated.
There is still so much to say. But I'm exhausted. I got home at 2:30am. But I wanted to update you all. I will definitely explain further later on.
Thanks again to EVERYONE that helped in any way. My family and I truly appreciate it.

I am so gald you found her and that she was okay.
Oh thank God. I'm so glad she is safe. We are dealing with a mentally ill family member as well - my nephew - he's only 20, it's just the beginning and it's really sad and difficult. I am so glad your aunt has family that loves her.
Thank you for your nice comment on my blog and your good wishes too!! Right back at you - I hope wonderful things are right around the corner for you. :-)
