Yesterday, after sleeping in a while, we went to see my aunt in the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center that they moved her to. She seems to be slightly better (although anyone else wouldn't think so). When we saw her....she greeted us with a kiss and then went on her merry way talking to herself, etc. She then began praying...but she prayed loudly. I figured as long as she's praying and not cursing....who cares.
The people at the rehabilitation center seem wonderful! So full of patience!! God Bless them all. That is a tough job. The place is also very secure...so there is no way for her to get out.
My aunt however, didn't believe that my brother Sergio was really him. She made him speak Italian to prove himself. Sometimes she think we are impostors to her true family members. She did try to hit my mother yesterday....but she stopped herself. My aunt really needs a lot of help. Poor woman! She still hasn't showered but my mom and my other aunt gave her a sponge bath at the hospital the night before. I guess she still feels violated (not sexually thank God) and scared. But I did bring her deodorant, a hair brush, tooth brush and toothpaste in which she used them all. So I think it's a matter of time before she showers.
Tomorrow (Friday), we have to go to court. Unfortunately, she still has a right to refuse medication and she has been. So tomorrow we go back to Philly yet again and fight that her rights be taken away from her. She is in absolutely no state of mind to make her own medical decisions. I hope the judge rules in our favor. The sad thing is they will be bringing her into the court house in cuffs....I've never seen her that way. But it will definitely piss her off which will help us prove our case because she will seem even more crazy. We must move her to NJ. The laws here are different. Plus, she will be closer to her family and we can keep an eye on her better. All this driving right now...is totally tiring me out.
Anyway....back to the TTC part of my life. Obviously not much is going on. I stopped praying my novena due to my aunt. I will resume the novena tonight. I'm just going to start at where I left off. I hope that's ok.
